Infinite Aged Care, Toowoomba, QLD: A Case Study in Effective Stormwater Management
Infinite Aged Care is a long-term Australian residential aged care provider. Recently, Infinite Care expanded into Queensland with three new facilities in South East Queensland, including one in the regional city of Toowoomba.
Project Design Brief
Designers needed to incorporate an underground stormwater tank to collect runoff from a combination of different areas on the site. The detention tank would store surface water collected from hardstand areas, as well as water collected from various roof structures. Designers needed the tank to be trafficable and enable easy access for inspection and cleaning.
